Fun along Fundy

Location: Fundy National Park, St. Andrews Blockhouse, Carleton Martello Tower, Monument-Lefebvre and Fort Beauséjour—Fort Cumberland National Historic Sites

Day 1


Location: Fundy National Park
Distance: 85 km from Moncton

Let the sweet smell of the Acadian Forest welcome you as you roll into this UNESCO Biosphere Reserve. Set up camp along Wolfe Lake where you can jump in, cool down and splash around. Rent something to paddle or bring your own and play at your leisure on Bennett Lake.

Day 2


Location: St. Andrews Blockhouse National Historic Site
Distance: St. Andrews, 210 km from Fundy

Take your picnic lunch to a new low: low tide! Stroll along the bottom of the mystical Atlantic Ocean. Next, step back in time to 1812 and walk into a ‘soldier’s life’ in the Blockhouse.


Location: Carleton Martello Tower National Historic Site
Distance: Saint John, 100 km from St. Andrews

Discover the Sentinel of Saint John with a lively video and interactive exhibit. Picnic and play lawn games or find fine dining in Uptown Saint John. Linger and soak in a picturesque sunset ocean view!

Day 3


Location: Fundy National Park


Start your day the tranquil way with yoga—the Chignecto pavilion provides communal space rain or shine. Grab a bike rental and hit the trails for family-friendly routes, exciting ravine rides or practice on the pumptrack. Stargaze like never before in this awe-inspiring Dark-Sky Preserve.

Day 4


Location: Fundy National Park

Hike out and rejuvenate at the base of one of the park’s several spectacular waterfalls! Cool off at the beach or soak your feet in pools of crystal-clear water. Up for adventure? Paddle the coast along rusty red cliffs worn by giant tides, guided or solo.

Day 5


Location: Fundy National Park

What relaxes you? Take to the golf green, go fishing, putter the beach, play at the park or stroll through town. Water babies can choose from rivers, lakes, the ocean or a heated saltwater pool with an ocean view. Take part in some Maritime fun with music, festivals and events.

Day 6


Location: Monument-Lefebvre National Historic Site
Distance: Memramcook, 100 km from Fundy

Journey into Acadia and gain a deeper understanding of a proud, passionate people. Uncover their tumultuous history and vibrant resurgence through exhibit, film or guided tour. Wander walking paths and scenic marshlands and spot traditional Acadian aboiteaux.


Location: Fort Beauséjour—Fort Cumberland National Historic Site
Distance: Aulac, 35 km from Monument-Lefebvre

Take advantage of the broad grassy slopes and fly colourful kites. Watch the sun go down over the historic Tantramar wetlands and the Bay of Fundy. Camp under the stars and experience history within the fort walls in an 18th century-style tent.

Day 7
