Treat yourself to a nature experience without forgoing comfort in one of the 13 oTENTiks at the Rivière-à-la-Pêche campground.

Use the sleds provided to bring your luggage from the parking lot to your tent and explore the cross-country ski and snowshoe trails.

Friendly tip: Although firewood is provided, use it sparingly... The slow-burning stove can quickly turn your oTENTik into a real sauna!

Whether it’s with your partner, family or friends Domaine Wabenaki-Andrew is the perfect place to enjoy winter.

With a fully equipped kitchen, large living room with fireplace, snowshoeing and cross-country skiing trails nearby and an unobstructed view of Lac à la Pêche, you’ll fall under its charm, guaranteed!

On the edge of Lac à la Pêche, discover two historic buildings. Stay in Le Chalet Wabenaki or La Maison Andrew which both used to be part of the Laurentian Club, the prestigious hunting and fishing club that used to be frequented by illustrious Americans, including the Kennedy family.

Want to pitch your tent in the snow at La Mauricie National Park? To access the Rivière à la Pêche Loop C campgrounds and backcountry campsites, registration is mandatory and can only be done on site.

  • C Loop

Only tents are allowed in winter. You will have access to an outhouse and kitchen shelter with wood stove.

The Rivière à la Pêche Service Centre is also nearby.

Backcountry camping

Winter camping is available at some of the backcountry camping sites near cross-country ski trails. Outhouses are usually available nearby, and you can always warm up at rest stops.

  • Lac à la Pêche 1* and 2
  • Lac Marie 1
  • Lac Édouard 5

* Lac à la Pêche 1 campground is also accessible via snowshoe trails in the Saint-Gérard sector.
