Point Pelee National Park

Plan to spend a full day enjoying Point Pelee. Walk the Marsh Boardwalk, paddle a canoe in the marsh (one hour), experience the Botham Tree Trail (one to two hours), take a round trip shuttle ride (one hour) to The Tip, or enjoy a picnic and a swim at the beach.

Point Pelee is easily reached by car and is 65 km from Windsor, 180 km from London and 355 km from Toronto.

Directions

By car

From the east (via Highway 401)

  • Folllow Hwy 401 to exit 48 (Cty Rd 35/Hwy 77, Leamington, Comber). Take exit and turn left (south) on Hwy 77
  • Follow Hwy 77 to Cty Rd 33.
  • Turn left (east) on Cty Rd 33*
  • Follow Cty Rd 33 to Cty Rd 20. Turn right on Cty Rd 20
  • Follow Cty Rd 20 approx 200 m to Bevel Line
  • Turn left on Bevel Line. This road will be come Point Pelee Drive.
  • Follow Point Pelee Drive to the Park Entrance

From the west (via Highway 3)

  • From the Bridge or tunnel, follow directional signs to Hwy 3 east (Leamington)
  • Continue on Hwy 3 east, it will become Cty Rd 33 when it meets Hwy 77/Erie Street
  • Turn left (east) on Cty Rd 33*
  • Follow Cty Rd 33 to Cty Rd 20. Turn right on Cty Rd 20
  • Follow Cty Rd 20 approx 200 m to Bevel Line
  • Turn left on Bevel Line. This road will be come Point Pelee Drive.
  • Follow Point Pelee Drive to the Park Entrance

*Note- you can continue south on Erie Street and drive through the Town of Leamington. Follow Erie Street south to Seacliff Drive. Turn left (east) on Seacliff Drive to Bevel Line. Veer right on Bevel Line and follow this road to the park entrance.

By public transit

There is no public transit acess to Point Pelee National Park

Boat – Leamington Marina, taxi service is available.
