Whether you prefer to camp in a tent, in a trailer close to amenities, to travel to a wilderness site, we have the experience you are looking for!
Fundy National Park has four front country campgrounds, each providing a unique camping experience. You will find amenities such as washrooms, showers, electrical, sewer and water hookups all within close proximity to other Park services and facilities.
As a backcountry traveller, you have your choice of eight backcountry campsites located at Goose River, Marven Lake, Tracey Lake or Chambers Lake.

This campground is for those looking for camping made easy! It offers great views of the Bay of Fundy, access to all the services and facilities in the headquarters area including our natural playground. It is within walking distance of the Village of Alma.
The Headquarters campground is conveniently nestled in the activity hub of the park near the East entrance. It offers easy access to hiking trails, the outdoor theatre, the village of Alma, and many other recreational facilities. The sites are in a semi-wooded setting.
Note: This campground doesn't permit campfires at individual sites. Communal fire pits are available.

Cannontown

Cannontown campground

This is our newest campground, created for the camper-style traveller. All sites are fully serviced and have their own fire pit. They are all in woodland, and some even have views of the Bay of Fundy.
The Cannontown campground is conveniently nestled in the activity hub of the park, right beside the playground, golf course, the Salt & Fir Centre and is just up the road from the salt water pool. It offers easy access to the hiking trails, the outdoor theatre, the village of Alma, and many other recreational facilities. The sites are in a treed setting and some have a picturesque view of the Bay of Fundy.

Chignecto

Chignecto campground

This campground has serviced and unserviced sites with campfire pits. It is a great place for families looking for active, outdoor adventure as it is close to hiking and biking trails, playgrounds, the public program campfire circle and the astronomy viewing site.
Chignecto is located 4 km North West of the Park Headquarters. It is a large wooded campground on the highlands of Fundy National Park. Because it is further away from the Bay of Fundy, fog is a rare occurrence.

Point Wolfe

Point Wolfe campground

Just get far enough to escape! This campground provides a simplified frontcountry camping experience with unserviced sites and fire pits; Point Wolfe is in the heart of some of Fundy’s most spectacular coastal wilderness.
You have to cross the Point Wolfe covered bridge to access this campground. Truly enchanting! It is located 8 km west of the Park Headquarters. Many hiking trails are found here, and one that will take you down on the rugged Fundy shore. The campground has many open sites, other are in a more forested setting.
Note: Due to clearance restrictions, access to the campground is limited to a maximum vehicle/equipment length of 7.3 m (24 feet) and a height of 4.4 m (13 feet).

Backcountry

Backcountry camping

As a backcountry traveller, you will be able to visit natural wonders seen by only a small percentage of visitors.
For a challenging way to enjoy Fundy National Park’s beauty, try camping at one of the 8 backcountry campsites located at Goose River, Marven Lake, Tracey Lake or Chambers Lake.
Camping offer
- Each designated campsite provides a tent pad, a pit privy and a picnic table
- It is recommended that you carry in drinking water
- Backpacking cook stoves are necessary for food preparation
- Never leave garbage in the backcountry - plastic bags are provided upon request
- Consult our website on backcountry camping tips and regulations
- Campfires are not permitted in Foster Brook
- Firewood for Chambers/Marven site 2 is located at site 1
- Firewood for Tracey Lake site 11 is located at site 12

A few rules
- Don't move firewood - Importing firewood is prohibited
- Headquarters and Point Wolfe campgrounds: visitors must check in and check out at the campground kiosk during the peak season and at the Visitor Centre after Labour Day
- Chignecto Campground: visitors must check in and check out at the campground kiosk
- Pets must be kept on a leash at all times
- It is illegal to feed wildlife in national parks
- Keep your campsite clean, animals are attracted by human food and waste
- Excessive noise will not be tolerated, day or night
- Quiet time is from 11 pm to 7 am
