Stewardship and management

Lévis Forts National Historic Site

It was to counter a possible land attack via the South Shore of the St. Lawrence River that the Lévis Forts were built. The last British fortification constructed on Canadian soil, these buildings bear witness to the ingenious innovations of the time.

The Lévis Forts National Historic Site is managed by the Québec Field Unit at Parks Canada.

You can consult the management plan and the public consultation report.
